Life insurance 'protects those left behind'
September 01, 2010
Life insurance gives the policyholder peace of mind that their family will be protected if they pass away.
Life insurance provides important financial support to the family of a policyholder in the event of their unexpected death.
Writing for the Shutter Voice website, Arghya Chatterjee stated that taking out some form of life insurance cover is an important part of planning for the future.
He added that no one can predict what will happen to them and the possibility of having an accident or suffering from a disease is part of life.
Mr Chatterjee said life insurance can help to provide for loved ones should the worst happen.
"It is a necessary step to secure the future of your spouse and children so that you can be assured of their life economically even if you are not there," the columnist explained.
Earlier this week, April Peveteaux, a blogger for The Stir website, said a whole life insurance policy can provide financial cover while also acting as an investment.
This is because it is possible to cash in the policy, she explained.
